Haven't tried out the rage blade, but my best purchases this year have been a used BPS Extreme for 40 bones and 2.5 size Squarebills. I had about 15 1.5's, and they caught fish, even my PB which is in my avatar, but those 2.5s really get awesome reaction strikes from big bass. They jar that thing and almost rip the rod out of my hand! Its so much fun feeling them whack it, and I've only caught one bass under 2 lbs on it. Most of them have been 4+

I purchased the Rapala Shadow Rap in Shad Color 4'-8' at Dicks Sporting Goods the week it came out. I have caught fish on it every single day that I have gone fishing this year including Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, a gigantic Crappie, and a Muskie. My best day out was 11 Largemouth on it and that one Crappie.

Mines a tossup between 2

1. I've become a believer in spybaiting, so the Duo Realis Spinbait 80, 90, and G-Fix 80's are a go-to for me

2. I've recently become a Ned Rig convert, and lawdalmighty, those things work

Most helpful? I dunno.

Most favorite? NRX 852s and Stella 2500HGS (when it gets here)

I bought a strike king king shad and I'm loving this thing, it runs really shallow and its easy to use in the grassy lakes around here...

Alphas SV is my favorite purchase of the year...so far.

Love Cane Thumpers! Great bait!

A bag of Zoom centipede worms in green pumpkin color. They have become a lethal drop shot bait in the gin clear strip pits i fish.

What is the difference between the Kill/Warning Shot? What did you not like about the Real Deal Craw?

To me, the Kill and Warning shot are pretty similar, I like the tail of the Warning Shot better, plus I have caught more and bigger fish on it. Simple as that. I don't need to carry two of almost the same bait's around. Real Deal craw is fragile and expensive (the HD version $5.99 per 4)......usually not a a problem for Big Bite Baits, bit this is not one of there more economical offerings, and it didn't do anything for me that I couldn't do cheaper with my "go to" flipping bait....The Havoc Pit Boss.

Ok, good insight on the Kill/Warning shot. I'll have to try the warning shot out.

Had some success with chatterbaits, wacky rigging and Havoc Creature baits that I never took the time to fish.

Got a Curado baitcaster and Okuma crankbait rod as well and I have d**n near worn that combo out fishing it they just works great together.

I've got a new one! These were BOGO at DSG. I wouldn't buy them for $9 but for $4.50 a pop i said id give it a shot. Will see how they compare. Next Squarebills to try on my short list are the Yamamoto 100 and the Lucky Craft SR series.
