Sorry, the new carburetor was another boat I was looking at.. And the boat is $3750

Being on Craig's list, I hope this is a boat you get face to face to do the deal, if not, run like hell from it.  You do know Craig's list is one of the Scammer's favorite sites, so any dealings you do with anything there needs to be face to face when any money changes hands.

 

As for worth it, I think it doesn't sound too bad.

Take 3000$ cassh with ya and put $500 in a diff pocket show them 30 big ones that should do it of course after you do a test drive

Test drive, compression check, and take it home. $3500 would be a great price for it but you aren't getting hurt on that boat at $3750... as long as all things check out that is.

I've already met with him once, and it was hard enough to get the price from $4200 to $3750

Then buy it if it checks out.

If everything was good on it, that's a pretty decent price. $3500 would be better, but if you're looking to keep it I'd go for it.
