I am checking to see if anyone has used the St. Croix 7'11" Legend Extreme casting rod.  I am looking for a punching rod for Kissimmee, Okeechobee, ect, and wanted to see if there was any information on the St. Croix.  Thanks

I believe there's one in the flea market. You may wanna contact whoever has it posted as to what their thoughts of it are.

I used the older cork version of it a few years ago. It's a great punching rod. The MF tip was great for heavy grass/slop.

Check out the Okuma Mat Daddy. I have one and it's a sweet punching rod for less than half the rod you're talking about. 

My flipping/puncHing rods are dobyns champions but only because they were cheaper. but I do own three legend extremes, 70mf,70mhf, and 68mxf and I will tell you the rod you are looking at is amazing I'm sure because the actions on all the legend extremes are absolutely perfect
