Hello fellow anglers! Just getting back into fishing after several years break. What can I say...... life sometimes gets in the way. I live near the Susquehanna in Lancaster County in S. Eastern PA. I mainly fish some ponds and smaller lakes/reservoirs. River fishing has been hit or miss with all the rain this year much to my disliking.

After being away for so long I am really excited to see the advancements in gear and lures. It's like a whole new world. Everything has gotten a facelift. Some for the better and some for the worse but overall the science behind things have improved. I'm loving the light weight, low pro baitcasters. I picked up a Shimano Metanium and a Daiwa Steez and love them both. They are leaps and bounds away from the reels of 6 years ago. Great stuff!

Anyways I just wanted to take the time to say hello and if I have a worthy 2cents to throw in on a topic I will do so. I'm in the process of relearning things that I've forgotten and I'm enjoying trolling over the forum.

Thanks everyone...... cheers!

Welcome from another PA guy who fishes the Susquehanna river a good bit. Yes, the rain is killing me because the lakes in PA stink, very low bass density and the river is the only decent fishery we got, the Juniata is a good river as well as the Delaware.
