How Long Did It Take You To Master The Baitcaster?

Featured Replies

I think I'm pretty d**n good.  Been throwing baitcasters over 50 years.  I can pitch, flip, cast, roll cast with either hand.  Don't matter to me.  Then I watch Swindle on the Tube and I see a really good caster, and decide I really ain't that good.

Whether it's fishing, golf, tennis, bowling or whatever, it's hard to believe the gulf between the merely competent amateur and the highly skilled professional.
