Lo N Slo In The House

Featured Replies

Been reading for a while, now it's time for posting.

I live in the western piedmont region of NC. 56 years old, Marine Corps veteran, now retired from city water dept. Doin' some carpentry for cash, growing tomatoes and sticking as many bass as I can. I love fishing and been doing it for as long as I can recall.

How yall doin?

Greetings and Welcome to the forums , thanks for your service !

Did you ever happen to fish little Davidson Lake right there off Transco Rd?

It's separated from Lake Norman by I-77.

Really i mostly fished that part.  I'm in a kayak so that was the best area to fish hands down.  little boat traffic and plenty of water to cover.

otherwise i fished up around the state park on the very north end or down around blythe landing toward the southern side which was really close to my house.

Big fat bass in Davidson Lake. My pb came outta there in '98.

We have been catching alotta spots in there the last few years, a few 3-4 pounders too. But it does not seem to have had a negative affect on the largemouth....yet.

As for Norman, almost 95% spots nowadays. Peace
