In all seriousness, a lake I fished often had some beg flats that would be over ran with hydrilla. We would idle or troll through making a path, turn right around and start fishing it. Put A LOT of fish in the boat that way.

I googled it...and saw a man kiss a huge catfish right on the lips.

For the benefit of the youngsters, that's non-other than Clint Eastwood ("Make my day, punk").

Throwing stuff never helped my golf game either.

it does relieve some frustration some times, you just need to remember to throw them in the direction you are going to be walking;)

I did read somewhere that in the swamps/backwaters the would do this for I believe crappie, maybe bass, but pretty sure crappie. Not sure why it would work though.

That's only a couple (dozen) years away from "Rawhide".

Reminds me of a drifter named Rowdy Yates.

Never did listen to trail boss Gill Faver.  But, if he got too out of line Josh Randall ("Wanted Dead Or Alive") would set him straight.  You know who played Josh Randall, right? No Googling.

No, I don't

But now that you mentioned 'trail boss' Gill Favor, he was my favorite.

When he got fired up, his voice would rise in volume and pitch to a crescendo.

In truth, I found Favor more interesting than Eastwood. From what I've heard,

instead of using a stuntman, Gill drowned doing his own scene, but that's only hearsay.

It was Steve McQueen.

It is funny about Eastwood he was a little stiff when he was young.

Did not know that about Gill, but I can see it happening.
