Exactly this

I'd get an Abu Vendetta and a Revo S.

I'd bargain hunt if I were you, my favorite combo that's I've spend less than $200 on is my shimano crucial ($70) and my lews tourney speed spool ($100). Happy hunting!

*** & Tatula for a brand new combo. Id hunt down a used curado I though, ive seen guys selling them in the low $100 range...

The best way to stretch a budget is to buy quality and gently used pre-owned rods and reels. Generally I prefer to buy all my rods new but have ZERO problem buying reels lightly used from trusted individuals.

If buying used check places like E-Bay or wait for holiday or other special sales to help cut the cost down. Generally you can find plenty of 10-25% sales coming up on Labor Day (less than a month away).

Daiwa tatula off ebay for less than 100 with free shipping and *** *** black off several places with free shipping

BPS will do a Pro Qualifier on a Johnny Morris CarbonLite for $160. That's a good deal.

Pro Qualifier real (100$) on a Duckett Gost (100$)
