2016 Bass Tracker?

Featured Replies

Ok guys need some suggestions. I'm looking to purchase the new bass tracker 195 but i m tore if i want the carpet or the anti slip rubber flooring. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the rubber flooring, how it is when its wet or when the sun has been beating on it for hours how hot does it get. Thanks

I have zero experience with anti-slip flooring. That said, even high grade carpet shows wear after a couple of years and if you plan to keep the boat a long time or store the boat outside I would highly recommend the anti-slip flooring.

I would think that carpet would be a much quieter option.

I have had two boats with vinyl flooring rather than carpet. It is not slippery when wet. Easy wash down & maintenance.

Tracker does not use top quality carpet. It retains too much water and has a hell of a time drying completely. I wish they offered the rubber flooring when I bought mine.

I'd go with the non-slip in a heartbeat.

Easier to clean, dries faster when it rains.  Not sure which is quieter...but my sonar and trolling motor are making more noise than anything I'll drop, so I'm not sure it matters.

Hey guys really appreciate the feedback thank you!

Non-stop for sure I walked around a boat that had it. Its just as silent as carpet and easy to clean.

Here's a hint to dramatically reduce the drying time for a drenched carpet.  A wet or dry shop vac is your best friend.  A small cheap one will work just fine, and will leave the carpet nearly dry to the touch when done.

This helps your carpet in two ways.  It not only removes the water, but also removes most of the grit which is what damages all carpets including those in your home.

Only drawback with the rubber is going to be heat, its going to be alot hotter than carpet.
