Sammy ?

I went to LC website. Don't think so.

Those are definitely Lucky Craft eyes, so I'm going with the Sammy as well. It could easily be from their saltwater series or from Japan. The hooks were changed out to red in front and feathered rear.

Basspro?

I was thinking the same thing. I might have one around somewhere.

that bait looks very much like a sammy, but its not a sammy. a sammy does not have the 2 weights around the front look, its all in the back. BPS one has the weight in the back too.

Not sure what that is, but does it fish good?

Didnt bps run sometype of "premium" xps baits sometime 5-10 years ago. Im pretty sure thats it.

That color looks like the Cabelas Walking Dawg!  They aren't as good as a Sammy but they do work well, the Sammy has a wider glide that moves effortlessly while the Cabelas version only moves a short distance to the side. The thing is, the Cabelas version has a little more pop, but they do a good job when working them fast as they make a lot of noise and displace a lot of water. Again, the Sammy is better but this does work and I like using it when the water is stained because it pops more than the Sammy.

That's it.

I googled 'Cabela's Dawg' and found a couple images.

I assumed it was a cheaper Sammy knock-off.

We'll see how she fishes shallow in the early morning.

Thanks All

It will fish well, remember, this has a different action than a Sammy. I use both this and the Sammy, there is 2 reasons, the first is they make a color in the Walking Dawg that gets hammered when dragon flies are around, and the second is the action is a little different. As I stated earlier, this doesn't have the same side to side as the Sammy, it does move left and right but not as far but the chugging style mouth makes a bigger splash than the Sammy which is why I like that bait in dirty water.
