Oh well. Congratulations. You are now 2015 world series champions, basically.

Easy there grasshopper. This is far from over. Having been a baseball fan for a long time, I have learned that stuff happens. KC looks great, but the Mets will not go easy.

Exactly. I'm realistically looking for 1 road win for kc, and then finishing it at home.

I knew I would get comments like this

I know I shouldn't be posting because bad things will happen but at least its 2-1. Shouldn't have posted :)

It is kind of fun not having a dog in the hunt. I don't know who wins this thing, but these are really good teams. If you are a fan of the game, this is as good as it gets.

There we go! Knock him around! Won't be long until Ventura throws at someone or tries to start a fight

The Royals knocked my Orioles out of the post season last season. So.....

Lets Go Mets!

They're definetly kicking butt at home here in the 8th. So lets go ahead and make this a 2-1 series!

Dont get to cocky, as a yankee fan, I thought I'd never say this in a million years, but the mets are an equally dangerous team..should be very interesting..

Congrats on last nights win.!!

A YANKEES fan??? I thought you were a fellow Patriots hater in the Road To The Superbowl thread. :(

(Note: I'm an Orioles fan...)

But at least your not a patriot fan ;)

I hate the patriots.

Redsox too. lol

If the royals win tonight they win the series. If the mets win they have a chance.

:respect-059:  :respect-059:  :respect-059:  :bounce:  :happy-100:  3 down, 1 to go!!! Mets have a great team if they would stop beating themselves! I'm not complaining, but I'm not taking anything for granted either.

How ironic is it that Murphy would pull a "Buckner"......

Terry Collins completely gifted that W to the Royals. Murphy's error didn't help. But Collins has nobody to blame but himself for letting that lead slip away.

I don't know if I want them to win tonigbt, or Tuesday more!!!!!! Want this world series so badly for them!

What a game!! Fitting that the last game would involve so many elements of their season. Good start by Volquez, aggressive base running by Hosmer, Cain, and Dyson, the bullpen locking it down, Colon coming of the bench and getting a huge hit and opening the floodgates for a 5 run inning, and finally Davis snuffing out that glimmer of hope in the bottom of the 12th. Congrats and thank you to the Kansas City Royals, it's been a great ride this season.  :respect-059:

That was a sad display of baseball and managing by the Mets and Collins for most of this series. Gotta hand it to the Royals, they know how to battle back.

Congrats again! :(:Idontknow:

I felt that way 30 years ago, too!

I wish I was old enough to remember it, but I was 3 1/2.

I was born 6 months and 2 days after Game 7 in 1985. It's been a long wait.
