Me every week for the last 6 years,

I've worked retail for the last 28 years. Worked every saturday besides vacation weeks. It's just another day to me now.

Yeah, I just started a few months ago..really sucks lol.

For 29 years I have worked every holiday and on Christmas it was either Eve or Day. I am no police officer but I was a Operations Manager of a Multibillion dollar company for 17 years and when I quit that I started working in the funeral business. It was just as bad. You never know when the call is coming but its almost guaranteed to happen on a holiday. I had a State trooper stop me once and he said you know we have 2 of the worst jobs.

I got called into work, so I'm in costume all night....

Yeah, I just started a few months ago..really sucks lol.

Don't feel too bad, you get use to it. I had to come in at 8 tonight, plus daylight savings ends at 0200, so I'll get to work 13 hours tonight 

In the office till 1am tonight as well...happy Halloween!!!

Got Saturday off but going in early tomorrow. There's a big project a manufacturer needs done and it has to be done on Sunday.

A lot of plants can only get big stuff done on weekends and holidays. It's made for some crappy holidays, but that's the nature of the business.

Man I thought I was the only one..hope everyones day/ night is going alright.

Ouch. Thats rough. hope your shift is going smoothly.

Not one trick or treater!  Lazy kids won't walk up hills!  I don't even have a lawn to tell them to get off of.

 

Oh, and I have worked every Sunday for over 35 years,  give or take a few.
