Unfortunately they don't carry (and can't get shipped to DE, according to the site) Wiser's 18 year :stupid:

That sucks.

I just got back from Iceland and was able to try some killer Scotches not available in the states.  Reykjavik is awesome.

My other addiction used to be collecting Maker's Mark bottles.  At one time I had over 400 collector bottles that were unopened.  I sold all of them except for about 20 in order to buy some land to de

Pappy is fantastic, as is Lock Stock & Barrel, Whistle Pig, Michters, Blanton's and Hirsch.  I have a few of each at my bar at home.  Lately though, I've been on more of a cabernet sauvignon and P

Only 710 bottles will be made at a retail price of $1800.  That translates to probably $7500 street price I'm thinking.

I'm fairly confident they're all presold.

I'm also thinking that the 20 is probably still the best PVW to obtain.  The 23 is amazing, but in my opinion it's almost too smooth.

I am hearing very few are making it to markets, and a good portion of them are going to go to Charity Auctions.  Expect retail prices at $1799( more like double that)  and secondary to be over $10k.  Most wholesalers are going to get 1 bottle for their territory (mine would be all of West TN) and they are going to donate it to a charity auction as to not pizz off a bunch of customers.  If I find out which auction it is, I will let you know!

I'm sure your figure of $10k plus is much more accurate.  That's just insane, but someone's going to have to have it.

My most recent.  We usually take a couple bottles of Sinatra to Lake St Clair every year but this was special.

I just got back from a weekend on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.  I wasn't able to do the entire thing, and will go back to finish later this year.  I had some amazing experiences at Woodford Reserve, Maker's Mark, Limestone Branch, and of Jim Beam.

My best friend and I signed up for the Maker's Mark Ambassador program, and were finally able to dip bottles of bourbon from a barrel that had our name on it for the 6 or 7 years it was in their warehouse.  I was then able to purchase the bottles with my name printed on the label!

Limestone Branch (part of the craft distillery passport) was by far the most entertaining as the guide we had was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

For those of you that love your bourbon it is well worth the time to visit and take tours.
