Changed my bluegill pattern a bit

I added some interference gold scales to the top half of the bait and blacked the back out on it........what y'all think

That's a really, really nice blue gill.   Put more pale yellow along the belly and it's a really nice shell cracker.   Two patterns in one.

CCP nice variation of your buegill color. I haven't had a chance to throw the 2 baits you just painted for me (your standard bluegill pattern) because of the blizzard.  You paint a mean crankbait!

thats along the lines of what I was going to say... theres nothing wrong with that as the flash of yellow might catch their eye in clear/slightly murky water...

I must say that the Two images are amazing. I would Love to know how this process is done.

Could I ask for your advice as to how to get into making lures like that? From a standpoint of. NEVER having done it before lol. Thanks a ton.
