Earbuds

Featured Replies

I know this is a really random question but what are the best earbuds for around 30$? I found some beats by Dre for 30 bucks on eBay referbised but wondering if any of you have any better sugg!

If you found Beats By Dre for 30$ refurbished I would jump at that, and buy me a pair while you're at it lol

Skullcandy makes good earbuds and headphones

I have been buying gas station cheap ones's ($9.00 I think) since mine always get taking by kids and they always lose them, but the cheap ones break very quickly.  Someone recommended Skullcandy ($19.00) and when I finally bought them I couldn't believe difference in music quality and product quality.  They are definitely  worth the cost.

Skullcandy for sure. I think Dicks sells them for 20$.

Try Sennheiser.  They're a German company known for high quality headphones, microphones and audio equipment.  They're not as bassy as Beats, and are known more for wider staging and detail.

Most of their product is made in Germany and Ireland, though the 'more affordable' models are likely Pacific Rim.

Most of the earbud users I know prefer Skull Candy.

I tried the beats and to me they aren't that good at all, just a name.  I have used sony which are decent depending on the model, ironman (which are good for staying in your ears during active pursuits) seeinheser and shure.  I like my shure headphones the best.  the sound quality is great and they are pretty durable.  Seinheiser are really nice too....

Skull candy. The warranty is hard to beat. Run them over? Send the mangled ear buds back and get a new pair of whatever skull candy's you want for 50% off. The Inked sets are quite nice and the sound is pretty impressive. They can usually be had for 10 bucks on sale. The Ti pairs will run you around 50 regular and 45 on sale. However, the sound is phenomenal, including the bass notes. However, I still tend to prefer the Inked due to the price. The Skull Crushers, headset, is amazing as well. Especially if you want amazing bass.

I am very weird about my head phones and ear buds. In an effort to mock pop culture. I walk around with a pair hanging around my neck, not even plugged into anything. I even color coordinate them. At one point I had upwards of 40 pairs of skull candy head sets and ear buds. In different styles and colors.

Like all of us did not already know that.

Here's a little known (IMO) fact: Monoprice makes the best sounding earbuds for under $50 that I've ever used. And they cost about $7. Absurdly cheap, absurdly good sound quality.

I use skull candy aviators and I freaking love them, I have had three pairs just because I wanted them in different colors, they are one of their more expensive headphones at about 130$
