Wave worms!

Featured Replies

a stick bait that was one of the first things i learned to fish with and i fell in love with it! Wave worm was my brand of choice and i used the watermelon flake flavor. As far as i know they dont make them anymore and now i just use zoom. I fish it on an open face set up. Most always throw it out and let it set for a few seconds and slightly twitch it and make it rise and fall back to the bank. Most of the time when i have sucess with it the fish hammer it on the second or third fall. It's a bait ive had a lot of fun with and will always use it as a go to bait when im not having luck with anything else. anyone else ever use these?

to add to that, i guess they still make the wave worm they just dont sell it at walmart anymore. SADLY

I've used Wave worms and have a couple of packages of them.  There are times when their rate of fall and particular movement is what the bass want.  Other times, different brands seem to work better.

I have done really well with wave worms sometimes they catch fish when it seems like nothing else will.

I've never used a senko , to expensive . So I use the wave Tiki sticks instead . More times than not I am biting them in half to fish on jig heads to give it enough weight to cast easily on baitcasting gear . Ive had 100 smallmouth days fishing like this on a river .

Tiki's are very buoyant, the opposite of the Senko. I use Tiki's in really shallow water. Next in density I use is the BPS Stick-O. I'm trying the ElaZtech's this year. They should be very buoyant too. For depth, and just plain...cheating... I do carry some Senko's -both the 4" and 5". The expense and cheatin' nature of the original has me pulling them out reluctantly.

Glad to hear these are good. I bought around 70 packs in the 5 inch pbj tiki sticks and have yet to try them.

where did you come across 70 packs? online?

About a year ago they were on sale for .99 or 1.49 cents a pack on TW I believe.
