I just bought a kistler helium 3 off the flea matkrt here.  Havent gotten to use it but have bern messing around with it inside and so far seems to be worth it

my slight concern is ive noticed when i load the rod up the line rubs against the blank.  Should this be a concern??  Has anyone ese noticed this on their kistler rods??  Any input would be great

I have two heliums, a klx, and a mag...All are awesome. Never had any issues with them.

I have a Pro Series (essentially a carbon steel, TW exclusive). It's a great rod, I wouldn't worry about the line touching the blank. Mine does it sometimes but it hasn't been an issue. It usually only happens when I have a hog on the line anyways

I have two heliums and have never  noticed this happening even if it does I don't see what it could hurt? 

This is pretty common, especially with rods utilizing micro guides.  I wouldn't worry about it unless it drops below the blank.
