NOT, i repeat, NOT the strike king version that i just bought a few weeks ago!!  first off, the head is an odd shape, which is fine, but it's odd for sure.  secondly, it said 1/2 oz all over the package, but on my scales it was nearly 20G so more like 3/4 which is a bit of a big deal to me because the rod i was using was rated to 5/8 so there's that.....  thought they'd be a cheaper alternative.... they're cheaper alright, but not for me.

i like the fish head brand the best, but they are a little pricey.  i want to try one of the newer stand up versions they put out as well.

Fish head spin first then the su-spin.  I have some gambler meanos and road runner versions I need to try as well to see how I like them

I like the Sworming Hornet too, but I haven't done much brand comparison.

They work just fine in bluegill and perch lakes, too!

I bought a pile of these from TW and have really like them.  I wish they made a lighter wire version, but I suspect they will work very well for stripers and blues this year as well.  

I also have a few of these, which work great for the smaller Fat Impacts.  I get them from a local company, who's name I have forgotten.  I guess I need to head to one of the stores that carries them and find out.

i have not tried or fished the SK ones but from the weight perspective the 1/2oz label is the size of the head. So the head is 1/2 oz but yes with the head, hook, swivel, and blade included in the overall weight that probably where you are getting to the 20g

i know there is no standard and that it seems to vary, but SK does not advertise weight like that on their other products from what i've noted.  granted, i'm weighing them on a kitchen digital scale, but the variance on this one was wide.  if the head were 14G that would make the blade and hook roughly 6, which may be, i don't know.  either way, i likely wouldn't buy them again!
