A 32 year old from Georgia thought it was a smart idea to shoot a lawnmower loaded with 3 lbs of Tannerite at 25 FEET...

had not seen or heard, but how freaking stupid can people be?  i've seen other videos of people shooting the tannerite and anybody with any forward thinking could only imagine the shrapnel off of a lawnmower after it blew up.

Where do they sell it?  Hardware stores?  Maybe sporting good stores in the fishing department.

Online and gun shows are mainly where I've seen it. It's redneck kryptonite (as most explosives and anything that involves fire are, I should know). Obviously might be a bit too powerful to be selling to the general public though.

In Iowa We have it availavle locally at walmart, theisens, and blaines farm and fleet. Really easy to buy.

can't buy fireworks in some places, but they'll sell you TNT's little cousin!

People doing stuff like that will likely cause tannerite to become illegal or requite something like a license to buy it.
