From a link through a previous thread I ordered 5 lures for $5 from BPS, I received them today. The jig and the spinnerbait were BPS housebrand. The lipless crank, the crankbait, and the pencil topwater bait were Lew's Speed Lures. Wonedering if anyone had any of these lures. I like the speed pencil's color. I may change the hooks a use it as saltwater lure.

Just made the same order the other day but haven't received them yet.  I figure for $5 there should be at least one or two that will find a home in the tacklebox.

I ordered them back when the tread pop'ed up.  I still havn't got them.  I was going to give them to my son on Chrismas.  Start his first box.  He always wants me to get him a big plastic lure, but for what they are going to be used, I ain't going to buy $$ items.  This was perfect for me.

Yeah, I ordered those a month ago, got backordered, and now those lures are somewhere between Springfield, Missouri (Bass Pro HQ) and me! ;D

I got mine 2 days ago. Good stuff, worth the wait for the backorder.

The speed pencil is my favorite walk-the-dog bait.  Easy to work, great action, nice finishes, long-casting, and it costs $2.69

Finally got mine a couple days ago, well worth the money and wait.

I ordered mine two weeks ago, they were not back ordered. At least they did not say they were on back order.

i got mine a few days ago. bps spinnerbait, bps rattletrap, and a bps popper that looks pretty small. I also got a lew's speed lures crankbait.

Yeah, unfortunately I got the confirmation that it was sent and thats about it. I called the USPS today and they said it was delivered on Saturday (18th). I am currently waiting for the delivery man to call me. I have lived at the same addy for five years w/o a single problem.

I have an upstairs neighbor that is the prime thievery suspect if the postman says that he delivered it on Saturday!!!!!

Got mine today.  3 xps lures, 1 jig, 1 spinner.  My kid loves them.  I get the monkey off my kids back for only $5.  8-)

1 - Lew's Speed Pencil (LC knockoff) in silver/chartreuse back

1 - Bassmaster Pro Series crankbait, hot tiger color

1 - 3/16oz Lazer Eye spinnerbait, blue/chart

1 - XPS Lazer Eye lipless crankbait

For $5 I'd say I did pretty well.

Received mine day before Thanksgiving:

1. Stacey King Lazer Eye Flippin' Jig, 7/16oz in blue metalflake.

2. Bassmaster Pro Series crankbait, american shad (I think).

3. 1/4oz Lazer Eye spinnerbait (double willow blade), white/green glimmer.

4. Lazer Eye Extreme Slim Dog, shad (w/black back).

5. Lew's Speed Lures Speed Vibe, Baby bass.

I was at BPS in gurnee mills last week, and they had a HUGE selection of these. Seemed like they were all randomly paired up. I was diggin through em for awhile before my girlfriend carted me off. hahah

I will add here that I will definitely be replacing the trebles on the Speed Pencil and the lipless XPS.  Nickle-plated pieces of garbage wouldn't even sharpen.  But again, for $5..........................

Well, the first time I ordered them, I gave them the wrong address! > Ordered them again, with correct address, and got two packs on the same day! 10 for $10 I guess. Anyways, I got 2 Bass Pro Lazer Eye Spinnerbaits, 2 Bass Pro Stcey King Flippin' Jigs, an XPS Rattle Shad, a Lew's Speed Vibe, a Bassmaster Pencil bait, a Shoestring Dubois Topknocker, a Lew's Crank, and a Bassmaster Crank. I'm shocked by the outstanding quality of the Bassmaster lures. They have paint jobs and finishes that IMHO beat the crap out of LC. I'm happy with 'em!  

Got my package in the day before Thanksgiving.  I have an assortment pretty much as you guys described above.  I guess we will all have to try them to see if they catch fish.  The unfortunate thing is that, but the time we get to try them, we'll have forgotten where we bought them - or at least I will.
