Bienville Plantation Fl.

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any experience on this property?

Thinking about joining but I need to talk to others who have fished it.

I fished it for a day with some buddies 2-3 years ago. At that time the property was being interrupted by mining construction equipment which really ruined the atmosphere of the place. They had drained one of the lakes & tried transplanting the fish to another lake. Our day consisted of good numbers of fish but nothing caught bigger than five pounds. We had four guys fishing out of two boats. The potash mining influence might have subsided as of now & the current downturn in the fertilizer industry.

I've never fished bienville but I've fished over a hundred  bodies of water in Florida that are just like it

I fished it over 2 years ago with a member and it was terrible. We only caught 3 Dink's all day.He has another friend who caught more Dink's the same day. They both have gotten out of it now.According to them, the prices have gone up and the fishing has gone down.It was still a good experience. It looks so fishy .I tried nearly everything in my box with almost no fish or bites. There was almost nobody else fishing but us.One speck fisherman from Georgia had done well. They apparently are trying to figure out why the fishing has gone down so much. The water was probably the murkiest, silty water I've ever fished. And we got lost a few times in there(With an experienced member present)

I've gone by it a few times going to Eagle Lake, It does look like a great place to fish but not for the money it cost to fish it.
