Hi all. I am a new fisherman from Northern Colorado. I have done some bass fishing in Oklahoma, but really just easy crankbait cast and retrieve stuff. I've gotten "hooked" recently on fishing though. I bought a Ugly Stik G2X combo and a Zebco 33 combo, plus a tackle box and a bunch of different lures. I spent today fishing from the shore of a local pond (where I could see bass jumping out of the water near the shore lines), lost 3 lures, and didnt catch a thing (except for a wicked sunburn). I'm dissapointed, but dedicated. (Really sucks that I lost my Spro Frog, that thing was fun to play with!)

 

A little about me: 27 yo, born and raised here in Loveland, CO. Spent 4 years in the USMC, came back and have been a Deputy Sheriff for almost 4 years now. I am married, and have a little one on the way!

Welcome! Can honestly say I've never fished for bass in Colorado. Am familiar with the Loveland area as I have a sis in Centennial and a daughter in Foco. Caught a lot of trout in the Poudre...give us a bass report from time to time.

Welcome ti BR! I had some pretty good days bass fishing on Pueblo Reservoir years ago. That's really the only place I ever bass fished in Colorado, but I've fly fished all over the western half of the state.

Ever find anywhere to bass fish in Northern Colorado? 

 

Lived in central Florida and Alabama the past 5 years so I've been a little spoiled. I just relocated to Greeley for work.
