Can you keep catfish and bass in the same pond? If so will they limit the sizes of the bass?

Generally channel catfish aren't predators of bass. I am sure they may occasionally eat bass fry or young of the year bass, but they will co-exist just fine together in ponds and small bodies of water.

Most every pond and lake in the state of Kansas have both and they coexist fine. They'll eat each over occasionally, but not enough that it's a problem. 

The Missouri conservation Dept stocks ponds with bass , channel cats and bluegill , so yes .

My double secret pond has catfish and we consider them pets.

We have an albino catfish and when I hit the pond next week I hope to see him.

What ever you do, DON'T FEED THE CATFISH BEFORE YOU START FISHING FOR BASS.

The catfish will follow you around the pond all day. I know. I found out the hard way!!!

Flatheads can be bad bad news...

While channel cats are predators.. They generally hang in the lower parts of a pond. Bass usually are in the upper parts, shallows or suspended. A channel cat will eat the first bass it can get its mouth on, or any other species of fish. 

ALL ponds I have ever been to have been stocked with channel cats, bass, and bluegill. In the order of Fathead minnows, bass/catfish/bluegill, bass, catfish with each step being 1 year apart. That is the recommended stocking pattern from what I can remember.

Yes, as much as a I love flatheads, never put them in a ponds. I've seen as few as 4 of them all but eat every other fish in a 1 acre pond that was previously full of bass, bluegill, and crappie. They're eating machines and prey almost entirely on other fish and once they get bigger than 10 pounds they can eat almost any other pond fish and grow like crazy.
