That's one impressive dog.

 

that's hilarious!  looks like he's done that once or twice before.  my dog loves to stare down into the water, but he's never gone full grizzly like that before!

I don't see a license on that dog...call the gubby cops.

I've actually heard people getting tickets for their dogs catching fish. Can't remember the exact reasoning but it's a stretch for sure.

Best my dog will do is sniff a fish, maybe a lick or two, unless it's a big fish, then she's as far away from it as she can get.

My lab used to try to retrieve bass I caught on the creek after work.  She succeeded a few times.  She was a good hunting lab with a really soft mouth and the fish survived.  

My lab always catches one or two of the trout in our goldfish pond that we keep over the winter. We can't even put crappies in there anymore because he gets them within a few days of stocking them.

His dumb butt would be too busy eating the bread to catch that bluegill

Impressive, that Golden Retriever outfishes some people I know.

My dogs wouldn't know what to do in that situation.

Now that was a hoot.  Smart dog. He learned to stay real still then pounce.  good doggie!

My pit will catch whitings out of the surf at the beach. She herds them up towards the shore like a dolphin, then when the wave recedes traps em and snags em!
