Jitterbug in black and I mean the BIG jitterbug! Or a Spit -in-Image.

popper: 1/4 oz Yellow Magic, White Shad

wake bait: LC Wake 3/4 oz, TO Shad

I am partial to a Strike King Bleeding bait buzzbait in white and red

My favorite is the frog (not toad). My PB came on an older one.

My best lately is the Chug'n Spook, jr. Last summer I cleaned up with it in the evenings.

My best all-time is the Pop R, small size.

My best for one day is Heddon Torpedo-50+ fish in a couple hours. I probably should have switched over to a buzzbait for some size, but I was in the kayak and you gotta run what you brung, to use a racing analogy.

My new obsession is to catch one on the Devil's Horse. I also have a new Hula Popper, Jitterbug & Field Mouse.

Honorable mentions: Buzzbaits, Chug Bug & Spook have produced at various times for me. I caught 5 in 5 casts once on the large Spook and not one bite since.

When that pattern really kick in this summer I'm going to take 5 rods rigged with topwaters and one with a craw and see what I can accomplish.

Zoom Horny Toad. It can fished fast like a buzz bait or you can slow it down and fish it over the pads like a hollow body. It has a lot better hook up ratio than hollow bodies too. I have tried numerous different colors and they all seem to catch fish at the same rate.

My best stickbait is Heddon Super Spook.

For pike i use Strike Pro Top Bandit. it's good lure.

Pop R, strike king sexy dawg,  and strike king spit n king

And booyah pad crasher

Zoom Horny Toad for me. It can be rigged weedless and I've even caught fish running it subsurface like a wake bait.

Black jitterbug 5/8 size, chrome and black back pop-r, white buzzbait, and hollow body frogs are about all I ever use anymore.

SuperSpook Jr, but if the buzzbait bite is on, you know I'll be throwing a black, double blade.

Zara spook.

an oldie but a goodie.

OR.......LC Sammy.   easy walker and the bass love it

Prop Baits....XRAP Prop....Torpedo...but there are hundreds of good topwater lures...Rebel Pop'R is tough to beat, same as a Zara Spook...

What color is this one ?

Honestly I'm not sure. I just pulled the first good picture from Google. They don't seem to make that color any more. I couldn't find it on TW or the Rapala website.
