ever do something this stupid?

Back when gas prices were really high a few years ago, we were driving into town to fill up the outboard gas tank instead of filling up on the water because the gas was cheaper.  One time we had dinner, headed back to the cabin to get in some night fishing.  About two hours later, and 3 or 4 miles down the lake, the outboard dies.  It was out of gas.  That's when we remembered we left the extra gas tank in the car.  We got back to the slip after paddling with anything we could find.  Lucky the wind was with us.

You obviously didn't read my post. We pay the US Forest Service or the lodge that is on the lake day fees so those pay for the boat launch. ODFW plants bass in one lake in this state. Other than that they put 8" rainbow trout in lakes that I have zero interest in. They also took our salmon population hostage as you can only keep their hatchery fish.

In my state as a bass fisherman I just fork over money to our state regulators to go after a fish family they wish didn't exist. Also all reservoirs were built for hydro power or flood control. Fish were never considered when they were built as some are being removed now because of the way they limit fish populations.

i  read what you posted, but obviously you dont know what you yourself posted, as you mentioned none of this in your first post. dont try and change the topic you wrote about to something completely unrelated now. you complained about having to pay for a fishing license, and about people keeping fish when you catch and release. obviously its your choice to fish on US Forest land or at lodges at an extra cost, no one is forcing you to fish there. and you can keep fish the same as others if you wanted, once again thats your choice. if you want to be mad about something, be mad at the choices you made...
