I've tried other baitcasters and keep coming back to the round Ambassadeurs. Even the 3600 EON I have isn't bad even though it has a plastic frame.

all my rods are veritas and 1 revo sx reel. the new 2.0 7 3 MH is a pretty stout rod but still sensitive enough. 2.0 cranking rod's been great. love my revo reel also. never had any issues with any of their products. been a pleasure to fish with so far so good. 

Yuup all i need and enough colors and sizes to fish 3 diff ones each day for 30 days..check online and you will see worldwide they have the biggest follow 

I was using Fphlueger reels then made the move to Lews 2 years ago. I have two of the IKE power rods and two Villian 2.0s. The Villian rods are terrific. The IKE 70-5 is very versitale while The 74-6 is good for frogs and swim baits.

The next rod I buy will be another Villian 2.0. 

I also have Lews and Diawa rods. 

I have two revo-s that are 1st gen, and three Abu round reels.  The newest of the round reels is 13 years old.  Except for the pawl going out in the round reels I have never had any issues with them.

Big fan.  All my tournament gear is Abu Garcia reels
