Looking for a room in San Francisco. Any friendly bass fisherman that can recommend something dirt cheap? Or would be willing to let a hard working, Raider loving, electrician sleep in their garage or a tent in their back yard?

Work is booming out there right now and I'm kind of interested in heading out there. Scale is 61 dollars an hour straight time, then 122 an hour over time. I would be willing to chip in on bills and rent. Unless it's a backyard. In which case I can chip in on rent and lawn care. 

This is still in the planning phase of possible travel. 

I have friends out there..your gonna find that the pay is high for a reason..the expenses are proportionally high.

If you're working in San Francisco and making  $122 an hour you're going to work one full day to pay rent for a bedroom.  Maybe more.

I believe they have the highest homeless population in the United States.  You should fit right in

Yup, have family out there. In SF they pay $2200 a month for a studio that after a good night of drinking you could pee across. 

So, figure cali pay at $$$

And BFE pay at $

Your bring home will probably be the same.

True story. Yesterday I leave work and I'm waiting to cross the street. I overhear 2 alleged homeless people talking. Both appeared somewhat well manicured and upbeat. One guy asks the other guy, who is bald headed, a question I couldn't quite hear. The bald headed guy answers " I will, but first I have to raise $200 for a bus ticket". He sets a milk crate down, sits down with a pathetic look on his face, and unfolds his cardboard sign. "Going thru chemo. Need help to afford medicine"

I think I'm going to shave my head and change careers.  

Why not just hitch up the trailer home? Then you can park it at the job site.

Under a bridge.  It's much nicer.  You never know what kind of fluids will be running down the gutter.  A slightly used shopping cart will complete your domicile.
