Hello, my name is Holden, and I'm from central Virginia. My favorite places to fish are the James River, Tye River, Mill Creek Lake, Sandy River Resevoir, and any smaller pond.  I'm new here so feel free to offer any tips and advice.

Welcome to the site.  Do you fish from shore, wade or have a boat?  What is your favorite way to catch bass? I have a friend that loves the Chic, do you fish it as well?

When I'm in the rapids of the James I wade, but I do own a boat, my favorite way to catch fish is top water, I love seeing blow ups. And when you say Chic. are talking about the Chikamaw River?

No I saw you mentioned the James so I was wondering if you fished the Chickahominy which is a smaller tributary of the James. It might be small enough to run your boat in safely and my fried Ed loved it for nice size bass,

No I have yet to try that one yet, but will definitely look into it. I love fishing the Tye (also a tributary), for nice smallmouth. The Tye is a little too small for my boat, but it's perfect for wading.

Exactly right, my mom has a doctrine in Language Arts, and that is her favorite book. Thanks, Sam.
