I wanted to make this post to discuss Bull Shoals Lake fishing.  I fish all the local tournaments which are mostly at night. The fishing here is completely different than any other lake I've been on. Anybody have any experience on this lake? I can catch 2-5 lbers but getting that 5+ has been a challenge. I know they are out there! Any advice would be great. 

It was always tough for me to get big fish on it.  I've quit going down there since the lake is full of zebra muscles.

I  fished there once . Fished it    four days straight under flood conditions and dodging thunderstorms every day in the Missori section . . The water was so high boat ramps were closed . We slaughtered two too four  lb smallmouths thirty foot deep on  points using  tubes . Didnt catch any largemouths .

I like fishing Bull, but my wife likes Table Rock, so we compromise and always go to Table Rock. 

I catch more better quality fish at Bull than I ever have at Table Rock, but I've never caught anything over 5. My 3.5 pound PB spotted bass was from Bull, as well as my PB walleye, both on the same day.
