I think this is a chub but I'm not sure. I caught it in a warm water pond that had bluegill, bass, and crappie.

Looks like a shad to me, bro.

That's probably a shad, but it might be a golden shiner.

I think it's a golden shiner

Definitely a golden shiner.... look at the bottom fin

Id say golden shiner also

Golden Shiner for sure. They'll readily attack small lures and baits whereas shad (with the exception of American Shad), do not.

Golden  shiner.

Biggest  one i ever caught  was about ten inches long.

I hear they can grow up to twelve inches.

Shiner.Best bass bait there is.

I caught one that was between 12-13 inch .

I bet the bass in that pond are nice and fat. Im sure I'm not the only one who'd like to see a picture of your best bass from the pond !

I've posted it before, but it wasn't close to the lake record of 13 1/2 pounds.Heard of an unconfirmed 14.

The lake used to be full of 10-12 inch shiners and big bass.I was catching some 7-9 inchers until over a year or so ago.I think the bass have eaten up most of them for the time being.

These are 2 of the bigger bass I've caught in my home lake but not the biggest.Cant find that pic.at the moment.
