Lets play a game...

Featured Replies

I have some Cabela's gift cards that a burning a hole in my pocket. I am pretty well stocked on rods and reels and my regular supply of tackle. The first 5 lures that are mentioned that I do not currently have in my arsenal will be ordered.  Lets keep it realistic here, please don't go recommending banjo minnows and roman made swim baits. Well, Get to it!

Evergreen Showerblow

Whopper Plopper

Savage Gear 3D Suicide Duck

Livetarget Sunfish

Yellow Magic

I'm going to guess and say you have at least one of these. I know they are all topwater, I could recommend all throughout the water column. I love spending other people's money :D

missile baits d bomb

lucky craft flat cranks (on sale for $4.99)

spro rockcrawler cranks

booyah or spro popping frog

senko, senko, senko

Cabela's house brand, but they are always on back order for months. Take a good look at some of the new lures, they look good, I hope they are using better hooks instead of Matzuo, but regardless, they have great colors, and awesome deals on Lucky Craft lures. I would keep searching the Bargain cave until you find what you like.

They do not carry alot of the Japanese lures, some, but not a bunch. They sell the LC Lipless cranks for $4.99 in fall, and that is a lure that handles weeds like no other lipless bait imo. I forget which model, but the LV series is the one that corrects itself when ripping grass, it is kind of awesome for $5, they sell out at $20.

Solid recommendations, but I have these in the tackle box. I'm solely looking for some lures new to me. I will say, the D bomb and the lucky craft cranks my some of my most successful lures.

If you have never tried one toss in a Bandit 100. I looked at a few other baits, but they have a lot of items listed as backorderable and not in stock. Must have to do with the sale/pending sale to bps.

Megabass Popmax in Black Orochi other people also love the White Python.

The LiveTarget, Bandit, and the megabass are in the cart. This concludes my 5 Lures. I'm looking forward to throwing them.
