I came home today to find an infestation of frogs!

Recommended Posts

And all I can say is I am beyond pleased!   I'm not so sure I want to use them, as they're literal works of art!

They fit perfectly into a Plano 3700 Spinnerbait box.  I went a little nuts and ordered a bunch of colors.  Pictures truly don't do these frogs justice.

Some of the finishes are supposed to represent  Brazilian poisonous frogs, there are also some that represent local varieties as well.  Then there's the Pinkie Frog, which I asked him to make one specifically for my wife.  They are all exceptionally well made!

As they are all hand made, I sent Ken a picture of my boat, he made a frog to match!

Thanks guys.  They are the creation of this guy.  They're hand made, one at a time.  I ordered like 2 months ago and just got them today.   I understand he sells basic frogs for less, but these customs run about $60 each.

Designer frogs :roflmao1:

Signs and symptoms of compulsive (pathologic) fishing include:
  • Gaining a thrill from taking big fishing risks. (lubricious priced lures)
  • Taking increasingly bigger fishing risks. (buying multiple lubricious priced lures)
  • Preoccupation with fishing.
  • Reliving past fishing experiences.
  • Fishing as a way to escape problems or feelings of helplessness, guilt or depression.

Funny this list came from the Compulsive gambling Symptoms found on Google. I just swapped the word fishing in for gambling. Man it fits perfect for some of us.

I got to say I didn't know they made such things. I collect old toolboxes so there ain't much I can say about this without looking like a hypocrite. As the man said before he kissed the horse, "Each to his or her own preference".

Infestation eh? Nothing a little rodent killer wouldn't get rid of.

I think I have enough of these frogs to last a lifetime, and lock up a few for safe keeping.

I am guilty of collecting the Spro Frogs. I love the color patterns even though I only fish 2-3 colors. I just like ordering a few new colors every month. I get the urge to buy cool looking frogs, and those Frogs do look awesome, but I will stick with my $10 addiction for now.

Those colors do look awesome for sure.
