Either way, my answer hasn't changed.

Shad Rap
Wiggle wart
DT
Cavitron

That's a lot of movement for the water temperature dropping.. I start to move a little slower when fall comes around; jigs, jerkbaits, and working frogs slowly.

I fish the same  thing in  fall as I do summer .  The fish are often shallower but I still use the same deep divers , square bills , plastics ....

Scaleface took the words right off my keyboard. I'll continue using what I've used all summer. I do it every year and it always seems to work just fine.

Anything white, pearl, sexy shad ish that swims or walks is for me. :)

I don't have a specific favorite because what I use depends on where the fish are located and at what depth, but I have a certain selection I cycle through. Top water walkers, poppers, and buzzbaits, super flukes, floating worms, jerkbaits, lipless cranks, square bills, spinnerbaits, swim baits, jigs and drop shots. As the water cools I start using more jerkbaits, spoons, balsa cranks, flat cranks, lipless cranks, tailspinners, and blade baits. The main things I concentrate on in the fall are where the baitfish are(main lake or how far up in Creek arms, and at what depth. I also use more reaction baits and stick with them longer if I'm not getting bites quick than I do in other seasons. Most bass are relating to and feeding on shad schools and I stick with baits that imitate the size of the shad I'm seeing and that can be fished at the depth the fish are relating to.

Spook JR in pearl!  My fall zen bait.

In November during the snow flurries I was tossing a YUM MONEY MINNOW SWIMBAIT. In pearl 6". That's my favorite November bait. Snow optional.

Dropshot Roboworm 4 1/2" Fat Worm "Hologram Shad",  fished with "Flourocarbon Line" 10 pound test, 18" to 24" Tag Line using a "Tugsten Dropshot Weight" 3/8 Oz. to a 1/2 Oz. for open waters. Roboworm Rebarb Hook 1/0 Light Wire Hook...

I all but abandon bottom presentations, targeting the middle and upper parts of the water column.  Crankbaits become my primary go to from early to mid-autumn. A white jig with a clear or white Kalin's Grub trailer will take over that spot once the temps drop into the mid 50's targeting the same depths.  Once temps drop below 50, blade baits and hair jigs

Pumpkin Spiced Swimbaits.
