What is the water temperature like in your area? Up here in Southern Ontario i've been finding bass already on the mouth of coves, shallow points with grass, creeks and bays. Surface temperature is reading 68F in the morning and rising to 71-72 in the afternoon. Throwing square bills, spinnerbaits, walking baits & chatterbaits as been the ticket. Any specific locations or structures I should target to catch bigger/more bass? They've been schooled up. Catching *** bass in little spurts. Would love to hear about the patterns of bass in your area! Let me know

You might want to try Basstrix 6" paddle tail swimmer in blueback herring colors around the deeper weed line breaks near points.

Surface temp of local water is around 70F this past weekend.  Moving into bays and shore somewhat.  Some still out deep of course.  Moving around alot.

Yes sir, live in Kingston, Ontario. Primarily fish Lake Ontario & the Bay of Quinte. Amazing fisheries. Thanks for the tips! Will do

Last weekend, the surface temp was 72 degrees. The only pattern I had luck with was fishing rocky main lake points, especially if they had a distinct cove. Shad were breaking on the surface and I had most luck throwing a buzzbait up on shore, every other fish was getting caught on the trailer hook no matter what speed or color I switched to. I was catching SM and LM bass but nothing over 2.5 lbs. 

In the afternoon, I usually fish a bay that has tons of weeds and lily pads. This was the first time in a while I couldn't pull at least one 3+ lb fish out of there. It was weird because I saw tons of shad, all different sizes too. 

This weekend I'm going to try the main lake points, and try to fish further up the creek-arms. 

I hope to find out next week .The wind has kept me off the water all this week .

My small waters are now in the 60s. 

Last night one of the medium size lakes was 74. Just last week I was there and the water was 84.

It's dropping off fast with cool nights and cold rain showers! Hoping to get out this weekend and possibly one morning next week. All depends if I won't be in the fields shooting geese. Missing the water though, good luck everyone going out this weekend!
