Anything similar to this still being sold?

Featured Replies

I saw a really neat idea browsing some websites the other day. It's called a Paycheck Baits Head Case, which seems to be a copy of the Reaction Innovations Screwed Up Bullet Head. But I can't find anywhere that sells them, every place that did at one point says they're out of stock.

Does anyone know where I can get some, or does anyone know of something that will work just like them? I plan on using them in front of a weightless SK Caffeine Shad pulled through some pretty weedy areas.

I've tried the parasite clips and they tend to get weed snag pretty easy where I fish, they also collect a lot of slop from algae in front of the swimbait, so those aren't very effective in my waters. According to some folks talking about these two above products elsewhere on the web, there isn't as much slop collection in front of the bait with these screwed on.

You might look up on alibaba.com, but you'd probably have to order a large quantity from the supplier.  Lots of weird things up there!

The average employee and/or website is just going to tell you that something is "out of stock" but can you contact the store manager about it and ask IF/WHEN they are going to order more?  If they once carried it, they'll place an order or can at least put you in contact with the parent company.  Worth a shot, anyway.

Google "Florida rig weights", that Paycheck Head Case looks like a plastic/non-weighted version of the Florida Rig screw-in weights.  Looks like some places carry some versions by Bullet Weights and Gambler.

If you get a chance could you post a picture of a rig you use with them on there? It might be just what I'm looking for.

My partner and I tried these a few years ago with flukes.  Something about them hindered hookups.  We couldn't put our finger on it.

They do look cool....I also like the look of the backwards version....looks like your dog's cone of shame...for a jerry-rigged scrounger

I use the grub guards on Senkos when Tx rigging them.

I insert the hook so the hook eye is a little exposed, then slide the guard over the hook eye.

Keeps the blunt end of the Senko from collecting debris and hanging up in vegetation.

I found some at DSG. The screw in bullet weights. 5 pack for 3.49. bargains.

I have about 50 of these cobra's they work great when using bass assassin shads, flukes, gambler swim baits. keeps the bait from sliding down when casting or coming through heavy grass.
