Best place to get outboard oil?

Featured Replies

I have a 2014 Evinrude Etec 115 horse. I will be using Evinrude XD100 oil in it. If I buy it by the gallon it's about $45 a gallon, however, I can buy it in bulk of 3 and get it for $35 a gallon from Amazon which is $106. I'm just wary about getting fake oil. Although, I assume people aren't making knock-off oil like they are making other knock-off products. Has anyone here ever bought oil from Amazon? Was it fine? Also, where else could I get this oil? Does it ever go on sale anywhere? Since I'm done fishing for the season I have all winter to get oil, I'm in no rush.

Use domo. You know you are getting legit xd100. There was some mumblings about knock off xd 100 being sold on amazon so be cautious with the supplier when buying on amazon. Before switching to merc, i ran xd100 in my old boat. Awesome stuff.

Another vote for DOMO, I get my XD100 from them as well...Even with the shipping cost it's cheaper than buying it locally.

Cabelas and gander both sell xd100. No idea if BPS does but i assume they do.

4 of the 5 marinas around me sell it.

Call around if you dont want to pay shipping.

Its not cheap oil and if you try to only buy when its cheap you wont be using it much. The trick is jumping on free shipping/bulk prices from domo when they come around. They just had a good sale so it could be awhile. Sign up for their newsletter.
