Looks like a type of shiner to me.... probably Golden except I don't see the red fins that typically characterize the fish.

Drum, or also known as a sheephead.

Pretty sure it's freshwater drum.. they hit aggressive and fight strong. You think you got a real good bass and then those lips surface lol.

But they are fun!

 

I also think it is a drum. For sure NOT a golden shiner !

Yup, freshwater drum a.k.a. "sheepshead" a.k.a. "goat" a.k.a. "dork fish"...

Drum.  They get big.

My arch nemesis, the freshwater drum. They're fun as long as you know what it is right away. If you're fighting them and they don't have the courtesy to roll so you know it's a drum, they can really get your hopes up.
