Where are you going?? It's a big state and it will make a difference!

If you're gonna fish big water start with frogs, swim baits, plastics and spinnerbaits.

If small local waters...Frogs and plastic

@N Florida Mike What kind of worms, curly tails or straight tails

Either one.I use Culprit worms,. Manns jelly worms,Zoom trick worms .I caught my biggest on a Mann's,which has a spear- shaped end on the tail.Caught my 3rd biggest on a red shad culprit, which is a curly tail.C aught a 6 last year  on the trick worm, which has a straight tail.I fish them all with as little weight as possible.

In addition to what has been mentioned above - try a zoom ultravibe speed worm (Watermelon Red and Junebug); these can be deadly in small, lightly pressured FL ponds.

Stick Baits, Big ribbontails, Vibe Tails.

Fish slow usually works.

I hear topwater baits are still working. Fish aren't lethargic yet, we haven't had much cold.
