To die with dignity

My mother and I were sitting at the living room speaking about many things in life

among other things we were discussing about life and death

I told her

" mother don't ever let me live in vegetative state depending upon machines and liquids from a bottle

If you ever see me in that condition unplug the artifacts that keep me alive and throw away the liquids upon which I depend

I'd rather die than live in such precarious conditions"

my mother stood up and looked at me in a way I have never seen before

and took away my cel phone

canecelled my whatsapp

deleted my facebook account

took my Tv

my DVD

my BluRay

my ' puter

my iPod

my PS/Xbox/Wii

my modem

and threw away my scotch, tequila, rum and all my beers

Holy smokes ! I almost died right there

I'm not sure why she would do things of that nature.. not wanting to live like that is perfectly understandable...

There must be more to this story.

Too bad Paul Harvey is no longer with us.  Then we could get the rest of the story.

Lol . I may or may not have consumed alcoholic beverages at the time of my previous statements.
