Am I the only one who experienced a dobyns being softer than rated? My medium heavy fury doesn't really feel like mh, it feels in between a medium and a medium heavy. I also want to know if they are all the same in the different lines, is it that the fury's feel softer and the savvy's or champions feel standard, or are the all the same. Did I just get a one of a kind, or are they all like this?

100% normal with Dobyns rods. They fish 1 power lighter than what they're rated. Plenty of threads about it if you do a quick search. 

A 3 power Dobyns fishes more like a traditional medium power rod than a MH. The blanks are also slower the further down the line you go. I.E a Extreme HP 3 power has a much faster action than a 3 power fury or sierra.

I try and tell people this all the time and they never believe me.  Might be because I fish a lot of croix.

yes it is normal. although my dobyns fury spinning rods seem to be rated properly
