Chatter bait slow retrieval in ponds this time of year can be very productive, also a shad rap, reel fast stop reel fast stop kinda work it like a jerk bait this is great in cold water ponds.

I have caught some nice bass in the winter from ponds . I just go after bites . Marabou jigs and beetle spins worked slowly have caught some big ones out of small waters , but I am a lot farther North than you.

My PB came in last year in Dec. in 45* morning using a chatterbait (Zman elite) using a BizzBait Crafty kraw. Pond
