The Maxima UltraGreen Mono line appears kind of interesting with it's ability to blend into water color - any users here with experience on spinning & bait casters ?

I've used the 8 and 10lb. quite a bit on my stickbait and wiggle wart rods .

Also used it on a spinning rod to swim a grub.

Maxima is a good solid line, Handles pretty well and tough.

I had issues with line twist but I suspect thatwas mainly because I used it for dropshot. It was good handling and strongotherwise.

I use it for leader material with braid for lake erie smallies. Good abrasion resistance with limited stretch.

Ultragreen is my favorite (non-Flouro) Nylon line ~

However, No line is perfect for everything.

There's always a certain amount of give & take.

When I need nylon, Ultragreen provides the best of that I want with the least of what I don't.

It has Reasonable stretch, Great Knot & abrasion resistance, and is reasonably manageable when compared to other nylon lines I have experience with.

Another Trade off is, where durability & longevity is concerned.

Maxima has plenty of both, but with ALL nylon line I've used, they seem to have a certain & definite life span.

So I like to change them out BEFORE they reach it.  Waiting until after has often resulted in the sad face - :(.

As Maxima Ultra Green is not the cheapest line, changing it out super often can get $$.

When I'm making nylon line presentations is super heavy abrasive cover - where nicks & cuts in my line are inevitable and I know I'll be changing it out a bunch, the cost has to be considered.
