Just bought a 96 Tracker Deep v pro 17 and am chomping at the bit to get out fishing. Rain has kept everything to murky for now.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Lakes here are muddy so waiting it out to get out there to fish.

Took it out for it's first live run and got about 100 yards out and the motor shut down. Had to use the trolling motor to get back. Took it to the repair shop where I bought it from and the guy found 5 gallons of water in the tank, Thank goodness it wasn't a cylinder. Going to take it back out Friday for another run. No idea how water got in. I am thing the cap might have been left open and the heavy rains may have gotten past the cover and into the tank.

Welcome to the jungle.
