The local places around me sell the usual, spike it, bang, and if I look hard megastrike.

 

I like the megastrike but last year I started buying different stuff online just to try what's out there. The problems I keep running into is that it seems the attractants can't withstand the ride UPS gives them.

 

Last year I tried JJs magic (great stuff by the way) and when I received the ups guy actually told me "I don't know what you got in hear but it's been stinking up my truck all day" immediately I knew what happened one of my bottles of jjs busted open. Sent it back to TW got a refund no problem I had some other colors that made it so I could still use them.

 

Fast Forward to this year, yesterday to be exact opened up my TW order of rods, reels, couple packs of senkos, and 2 tubes of liquid mayhem and one of the tubes of liquid mayhem the seal at the end of the tube part of it busted open, won't send that one back didn't lose that much of it I just broke out the trusty duct tape and sealed the seam.

 

Anybody else bought scents online and had the same experience? Or is it just me?

Nope, I've ordered megastrike and pro cure online without a problem. Tw usually does a good job on packaging.

I've been getting mine from TW also. All has gone well the last few times. But I always thinking of how my Smelly Jelly and others is going to hold up in transit. They do seal them in another plastic bag, no leekers yet. Call them I'm sure they would like to know and to take care of you also.

Did they ship them by air? I've never received anything broken like that but I did have it explained to me that with liquid sometimes the cabin pressure in the jets can break the bottles or compromise the seal. 

I've shipped quite a bit of Mega Strike and never had a complaint of it being damaged.

I shipped the jjs back to them and they refunded no problem. And the liquid mayhem didn't lose much so I just decided to keep it. I just thought it was funny the 2 times I order scents at least 1 each time has leaked or busted open and it's only the scents. I've ordered U40 cork seal before never had a problem it's just the scents

So the poor guys trunk stunk like a garlic factory and then you returned it and made another poor delivery man's truck reek. They deliver me all my goodies you better treat them nice!!!!

When you place an order (at least with tackle warehouse) it has a warning that some things will not be shipped by air (j.js magic being one of these) for the reason you mentioned. 

 

I' purchased scent from TW on 2 separate occasions and neither time had any real issues. The first time was one bottle of j.js chartreuse.. and it was all good.. the second order I got a different color of j.js and some spike it crawfish markers (because I'm not always feelin the garlic smell) I ordered 5 of the markers because they were cheap... And 1 out of the 5 had the tip recessed to the point it was unusable. A pair of needle nose and I pulled it right out.
