Snowpocalypse over - some roof sculpture

Featured Replies

Beautiful and sunny this morning, snow stopped yesterday afternoon after about 2 feet.  The snow was steady, however, the wind intensified the storm.  Noticed an overhang of snow from our roof this morning.  Not sure how the wind made this happen, and how the snow is hanging from the roof; but it looked interesting, so I took some pictures and attached one inside the house and one from outside (hip waders came in handy for that part).

The snow drift started at the roof, and continued over my truck and covering half my back door.  No pics, wasn't that unusual.  Half the snow looks to have melted today.

The snow overhang melted away today.  What a difference a few days make.  It was an interesting week.  The wind storm power outage at the start of the seven day stretch was the worst part of the deal for many here in our area.

Yeah, the power outage was the bad.  I was grateful it was only three days.  The snow, meh.  I thought the storm we had last year was worse.

I parked my evo in a parking lot yesterday..with about 30+ cars.

A huge piece of ice hit my car so hard, my rearview mirror fell..

I'm done. lol

Apparently getting more snow today..joy.

Really nice pic.

It kind of looks like a rogue wave.

Arctic blast coming in tomorrow.  It's dry air though, so not much snow.
