Cabala's will be hosting an in store sale for members only, may 5-8. They will be giving all members an employee discount. You need to have your card with you in order to get the discount. What is the discount percentage?

When I used to work there I think the base employee discount (the one you would get) was 25%, might have been 20 but I'm pretty sure it was 25. 

Do you mean card holder members?

They send you a card in the mail and it goes out to customers who either have a club visa or who have made a recent in-store purchase. I think if you are on the email or newsletter list you may also get it in the mail, but I know that not everyone gets the card sent to them.

So, Cabela's does the "employee pricing in store" sales a few times a year and they can be VERY good. The only catch is that you won't know what the actual price is until you take things to check out and have the cashier ring them up OR get an employee to scan the price and do the employee price lookup on their portable pricing guns. The price you'll pay item to item varies so it's really a total gamble. I've used this sale in the past on higher end rods/reels/equipment and that's where you'll find the juiciest prices. 

 

Where did you hear they are doing that sale this weekend? Sometimes they have signs up in the store but don't advertise it online.

I got the card in the mail

I believe it is on in store inventory only. I wish my Cabelas was better stocked.
