Very nice rig. Congrats. Sounds like you made a great deal on it too. We'll all be interested to hear how the Verado performs for you (as soon as the water softens up a bit :o). Good luck.

That is a nice boat. I have nearly the same color scheme on my TR20.

I would like to hear some input about the Verado after you run it a while.

My boat has the Optimax on it, but I have heard good stuff about the 4 stroke.

I'm very curious as well, what is the maintenance on that motor?

as far as maintanence the boat manuel says drain the oil change the filter and grease, pretty simple if you as me. it has a drain plug on the side were the oil drains and you just dump the oil in the top. it  reminds me so much of just like a car motor as far as air filters, oil filters and the whole ball of works. a couple of weeks ago when i took it on a test run on lake michigan it ran great . the awesome part was when the motor hit about 2000 rpm you could feel the supercharger kick in . that was wild.  8-) zimmy

Great rig you have!

Since I gona change my boat (188VS with 175opti) soon and upgrade to a 20 footer with a 250 HP, I was thinking about the verado.

Can you tel me how it feel to drive your boat with the Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering don't you miss the feeling of a regular steering equipement. And don't you think the dts system on the gear will be difficult to handle in rought waters (too sensitive)?

Don't mind if I ask but it's a big investment for me and any advise will be helpfull.
