Pretty hard to miss the orange boat with the Golden Retriever sleeping in her bed on the back deck.

Welcome from just South of you in Lenexa!

Welcome aboard.

The one thing I remember about Kansas City is that there was an illuminated steer high on top of a tower by the stockyards and when it was presented to the city President Truman was in attendance.

When the cloth was removed the steer's behind faced the President.

Is this a true story? You have any input on it?

Thanks.

I've been in the same area, albeit across the river, for about the same amount of time. I'll have to check out WyCO sometime. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome. I am 1hr north of you. I'll keep me eye out for the orange boat at Smithville!

That's it!

Thanks.

I think the story about which way it is facing is true.
