Took my oldest son, Lake, for his first Father and Son trip in the boat on Saturday. We both had a great time and he hasn't stopped talking about it since.

He was pretty worn out on the way home.

Really Nice ~

The shot of Lake in the live well is pretty funny, his hat is Priceless and that Smile says it all.

Doesn't get much better than that.

Nice job Dad.

When my son was little he never wanted to take a fish off of the hook, touch a fish, or bait his own hook. Now he's almost 12 years old and if I catch something he'll come running from the other side of the lagoon to take the fish off for me. He actually gets disappointed if I take it off on my own, especially if it's more than a few pounds.

Took my mom and oldest son fishing a while back.  She didnt seem like she was ready to go home so i dropped off my oldest and picked up the youngest son for a boat ride.  I swear same thing happened.  He asked what the livewell was so i turned it on and he jumped right in.  It like a magnet,

great pics, great smile, great time! doesn't get any better than that:thumbsup_blue:

Awesome post. I can't wait to take my boy fishing. My girls can handle it for a few minutes, but hoping to get one of them fully invested. Those pics are adorable.

Well done. My son just turned 13 and doesn't want to fish as much with me anymore. I knew this day might come so cherish every opportunity to take your boy lest you have to resort to using tactics to get him to go fishing fishing.

Two of his buddies that love to fish were over and because I knew he was going to say no, a light bulb ? came on. I said to his friends, "Hey boys, isn't it a great day to go fishing?" Their faces lit up (meaning yes) and my son gave me the "are you kidding me ?" Look.

My my son managed to catch his personal best largemouth that day so he was a happy camper.

Just sharing this with you as a card to have up your sleeve in case a similar scenario should arise in the years to come. ?
